Maple eliminates the "context tax" of professional life — the hours spent re-finding information, switching tabs, and re-explaining work to AI. We're building cognitive infrastructure: an ambient assistant that maps your projects, meetings, and goals in the background entirely on-device.

Product Pillars
1. Zero-Cloud Default
Maple indexes meetings, documents, and workflows locally. We do not store raw data on remote servers, eliminating security vulnerabilities associated with cloud databases.
2. Respect for Focus
No badges, popups, or annoying alerts. Maple runs silently in the system tray, listening only when summoned via system-wide shortcuts.

Core Messaging Guidelines
- What is Maple? Maple is an ambient, local-first AI workspace memory engine. We avoid calling it a simple "note-taker" or "chat bot."
- Spelling: Maple is always capitalized as a proper noun. Never "maple.ai" or "MAPLE" in copy.
- Voice: Calm, architectural, and deliberate. Focus on privacy, user empowerment, and design craftsmanship.
